Abstract

It is known that the Turkic peoples have been engaged in horse breeding since ancient
times. A huge layer of horse-breeding lexemes was passed down from generation to generation, from people
to people, and preserved in the language and dialects of the Turkic peoples. This article examines phonetic
variation horse tokens, considers the semantic features and transformation of equestrian dialects, reveals
the integration of horse-breeding vocabulary in the culture of the turkic peoples. Despite the study of the
comparative historical vocabulary of the turkic languages, the research of their dialectological connections,
the development of passive and active dialectological dictionaries in the historical and etymological aspect
has not yet been sufficiently studied. In the context of the above, the article reveals horse-breeding lexemes
in the dialects of the oghuz and kipchak languages as the basic basis for the development of dialectological
dictionaries of the oghuz and kipchak languages
